Baked to order, not pulled from a case
There is a real difference between a cake that was baked on Tuesday for your Saturday and one that sat frozen waiting for a buyer. We bake to your date. Layers come out of the oven within a couple of days of pickup, get filled fresh, and get finished the morning they leave.
- Real butter and fresh eggs, no premade mixes
- Swiss meringue and American buttercream made in house
- Fillings cooked and cooled in our kitchen, not poured from a can
- Color matched to your swatch, invitation or dress fabric
- Every order confirmed in writing before we start
- Licensed and inspected food establishment
The honest part
Good cake takes time and we would rather tell you that than overpromise. Most cakes need 72 hours notice. Wedding and quince cakes need three to four weeks so we can do a tasting and lock the design. Popular Saturdays in spring book out further than that.
If your date is tight, call us. Sometimes we can fit a simple cake in on short notice and sometimes we honestly cannot, and we will tell you which straight away instead of taking a deposit and hoping.
How it works
From first call to candles
Tell us the date
Send the date, guest count and occasion. We confirm availability first, before anything else, because the calendar is the real constraint.
Pick flavor and look
We walk you through flavors, fillings and finish. Bring a photo if you have one. For weddings and quinces we schedule a tasting.
Approve and deposit
You get a written order with size, servings, flavors, design notes, price and pickup time. A deposit holds the date on our calendar.
Pick up or delivery
Cakes are finished the morning of. Pick up at the shop or book delivery and setup for tiered cakes and events.
Flavors
The flavor list
Eight we keep going year round. Seasonal flavors rotate, and we take requests on custom orders.
Vanilla Bean
Real vanilla bean butter cake. The most requested cake we make, and the one that shows whether a bakery can bake.
Dark Chocolate
Deep cocoa crumb, moist and not too sweet. Pairs with chocolate ganache, salted caramel or raspberry.
Strawberry
Made with real strawberry puree, not flavoring. Beautiful with cream cheese buttercream.
Pistachio
Ground pistachio in the crumb with a light almond note. A quieter flavor that wins people over.
Tres Leches
Soaked sponge with the three milks, topped in whipped meringue. Best eaten within a day, and worth it.
Ube
Purple yam cake with a soft coconut note and a color no dye can fake. Ask about availability.
Dulce de Leche
Caramel layers with slow cooked dulce de leche filling. A South Florida favorite for good reason.
Red Velvet
Cocoa and buttermilk crumb with the classic tang, finished with cream cheese buttercream.
Fillings include vanilla buttercream, chocolate ganache, cream cheese, guava, dulce de leche, salted caramel, raspberry, strawberry, lemon curd, Nutella and fresh fruit. See all combinations on the cakes page.

Allergens
Please read before you order
Our kitchen handles wheat, eggs, milk, butter, soy, tree nuts and peanuts every single day. Equipment, mixers and work surfaces are shared. We take cross contact seriously and clean thoroughly, but we cannot promise any cake is free of a given allergen.
If someone eating the cake has a severe allergy, tell us before you order so we can be honest about what we can and cannot safely do. Details on our Allergen and Food Safety page.
Questions
Quick answers
How far ahead should I order?
72 hours minimum for most cakes. One to two weeks for anything with custom design work. Three to four weeks for weddings and quinces. Popular Saturdays go faster than that.
Do you deliver?
Yes, within Broward and north Miami-Dade. Delivery is quoted by distance. Tiered cakes should always be delivered by us rather than moved in a personal vehicle.
Can you copy a cake I saw online?
We can work from a photo as inspiration and build our own version. We do not reproduce another bakery's signature work line for line, and we will tell you honestly if a design is beyond what we do well.
Do you do tastings?
Yes for wedding and quince cakes, by appointment. The tasting fee is credited toward your order when you book.
How much cake do I need?
Plan one serving per guest, plus a few. Our pricing page has a full serving chart by size and shape.
